WHOA a DD!
Wow! I didn't notice until today that a recent Fragmentarium sketch was featured yesterday. Many thanks to SaTaNiA (https://www.deviantart.com/satania) for the feature, and to Mikael Hvidtfeldt Christensen for creating such a fabulous fractal exploration tool :peace:
I highly recommend checking out Fragmentarium. Once you experience the blistering speed of GPU accelerated rendering, you'll never want to go back!
Thanks again, and happy fractaling to all!

About The Inspiration Station
I just wanted to post a quick entry to let folks know that I am going to be very busy with a new job over the next few months, and I won't have time to participate in the Inspiration Station. Since I've been posting every week, I didn't want anyone to take it personally, or feel offended, when I don't join in to honor their work ;)
Peace, and happy fractalling to all :peace:

SOPA Canadian Edition! Or, Bill C-11
Canadians, it's time to speak out against Bill C-11. The Canadian music industry is making a ton of unreasonable demands. If you're unfamiliar with the issues, Michael Geist's blog is a great resource, or you can read this impassioned, somewhat entertaining, summary --> http://notavailablein.ca/2012/01/the-dmca-and-sopa-all-rolled-up-into-one-bill-c-11/
Listen to Michael Geist speak about C-11 here --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8XVgfUFlUg
Michael Geist reminds us that "this really is the final call as the bill will go to clause-by-clause review next week" He urges us to tell our MPs and members of the C-11 committee to reject the i

It's too bad he didn't pass on any credit to the original inventor of IFS, Hutchinson (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iterated… ) ... and that he sells the artworks other people make and render as his own for 10s of thousands of dollars: www.scottdraves.com/for-sale.h…
He also quite badly ripped off the co-author of flam3, who did most of the actual programming work, Erik Reckase. The flam3 generalisations are not even that significant; it could be argued that his main contribution was popularising the technique.
Nevertheless, I'm also glad he wrote and released that paper, and to academics whose mathematical methods I use in Chaotica that are not derived from flam3.
